How much do I charge for copywriting?
You’re probably wondering what my fees are for various projects – I know I would be.
Charging or pricing can be an inexact science. Most copywriters don’t post a fees list because they either:
a) don’t want to put people off (by either being too expensive or too cheap), or…
b) don’t want to undercut themselves, or…
c) want to charge fees according to the impact their work will have on the client’s business.
These are all valid points. But I also believe in a sense of openness that will help potential clients feel well-informed before they talk to me. And I’d also prefer to prevent any wasted time in case people are simply looking for cheap, fast, dirty blog posts to fill space on their website for SEO.
